Activities:  2007 – 2008

 
  I) Learning to line in a rural setting.
     
  II) Celebration of Christmas and distribution of ration for a month to 40 irular community families in Thiruvidaiyur.
     
  III) Conduction of medical camp for the local residence in Thiruvidaiyur.
     
  IV) The importance of small savings, health and hygiene, education and the evils of drinking habit are conveyed through a variety of cultural competitions
 

2008-2009:

 
  I) Celebration of Christmas and creating awareness with cultural activities and sharing of gifts with poor families in melrosapuram.
     
  II) Visit to leprory home in maraimalainagar and sharing of gifts and cloths.
     
  III) Distribution of snacks, liags, stationary kits and clothes to 18 children of little flower orphanage melrosapuram.
     
  IV) Cleaning the residential area at melrosapuram.
 

2009-2010:

 
  I) A project on socio-cultural analysis was undertaken by students in 5 slums near choolimedu.
     
  II) Distribution of stationary kits to 80 students at st.Joseph`s High school, Susaipuram during 19th of January, 2011.
     
  III) Distribution of Mosquito repellent machines, health kits, and sanitary kits to the inmates of *MITHRA*, home for the differently abled students during 11th December 2010.

Future Plans

 
  I) To adapt one particular slum for concentrating on its holistic development.
     
  II) Spoken English training for school goers.
     
  III) E-literacy programmes.
