On 11th March, 2009, "AIDS Awareness Programme for the Student-teachers" by Dr. Gajendran P., General Hospital HOD, Dr. David Rajkumar, CAPAS and Dr. Prabakar, AHO-Zone VI was conducted for our college students. It was helpful to the student-teacher better and aware of AIDS. |

The Alumni Association and the Management jointly organised one-day seminar on ‘Active Learning Method’ and ‘Samacheer Kalvi’ on 1st October 2011 in LCE. |

In December 2011, Two of our illustrious alumni – Ms. M. Sandhya and Ms.Mariza Lazarus - teaching in Global Public School, Chennai shared their experience of undergoing teacher formation in Loyola College of education and how it has put them in good stead as teachers which inspired and motivated our student-teachers. |

On the occasion of Christmas, our alumni generously contributed toiletries, bed-sheets, cakes and biscuits packets to the inmates of the Home for the Aged run by Sisters, St. Joseph’s Hospice for Dying Destitute at Palleswaram village via Salavakkam run by Fr. Thomas and students of St. Joseph’s School at Susaiapuram. |
